Where are you located?

Jersey Kickboxing is located at 600 G Street in Millville, New Jersey. We’re proud to offer a clean, professional training environment for kids, teens, and adults in the Millville area and surrounding communities. If you are coming in for your first class, feel free to reach out ahead of time if you need help finding us or have questions about what to bring.

Trial Class?

Yes. We offer one free trial class for new students. This gives people a chance to see the gym, meet the coaches, and get a feel for the training environment before signing up. After that first trial class, anyone who wants to continue training would need to enroll in a membership.

Programs Offered?

Programs Offered

  • Kickboxing
  • Boxing
  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi & No-Gi)
  • Youth MMA
  • Strength & Conditioning

Our goal is to provide quality instruction in both striking and grappling while keeping the training environment welcoming and organized. Whether someone wants to learn fundamentals, improve fitness, build confidence, or take their training more seriously, we have programs that fit a range of goals and experience levels.

Do I need experience?

No experience is needed. A lot of people who walk through our doors are starting from scratch. We work with beginners, intermediate students, and more experienced athletes, and classes are taught in a way that allows new students to learn without feeling overwhelmed. If you have trained before, you’ll still find structure, detail, and a good room to work in.

What to Bring?

For your first class, bring comfortable workout clothes, water, and a good attitude. If you are trying a striking class, standard athletic clothing is fine for getting started. If you are trying Jiu-Jitsu, we can talk with you afterward about what gear or uniform you will need moving forward. The main thing is to show up ready to learn.

What if I’m out of shape?

That is completely fine. Not everyone starts in peak condition, and nobody is expected to come in already looking or performing like an athlete. Part of training is improving your conditioning over time. We want people to come in, start where they are, and build from there. The important part is consistency.

Can I train just for fitness, or do I have to fight?

You do not have to compete to train here. A lot of people join because they want a better workout, more confidence, useful skills, or a productive hobby. We absolutely welcome people who want to train for fitness and personal development. At the same time, the training is real and structured, so members are still learning legitimate martial arts.

Do you offer competition training?

Yes. We can help students who are interested in competition, but competition is not required to be part of the gym. Some students train strictly for personal goals, while others may want to test themselves in kickboxing, boxing, or Jiu-Jitsu. We support both

What is the atmosphere like at Jersey Kickboxing?

We aim to keep the atmosphere professional, welcoming, and focused on quality training. People come here to work, learn, and improve. We want the gym to be a place where beginners feel comfortable getting started and experienced students feel like they are getting good work in. The culture matters to us, and so does making sure the room stays respectful and productive.

Is the gym clean?

Yes. Cleanliness is something we take seriously. We work to keep the training space clean and maintained because that is part of running a professional environment. A clean gym helps create a better experience for everyone and reflects the standard we want to keep.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes. Private lessons are available for students who want extra work outside of class. Some people use privates to build confidence as beginners, sharpen specific skills, prepare for competition, or simply get more one on one attention. If someone is interested, they can reach out for availability and rates.

How often should I train?

That depends on your goals, but for most people, training two to four times per week is a strong starting point. Consistency matters more than trying to do too much all at once. The best results usually come from showing up regularly and staying with it.

Do I need my own gear right away?

Not always on day one. For a first trial class, we mainly want people to come in and get started. If you decide to continue, we will let you know what equipment or uniform is needed for your program. That way you can make the right purchase instead of guessing

What makes Jersey Kickboxing different?

What separates us is the focus on real instruction, structured classes, and a solid training environment. We take what we do seriously and want people to feel like they are getting quality coaching and a good experience every time they walk in. Whether someone is here to get in shape, learn martial arts, or train consistently over the long term, we want the gym to be a place that gives them real value.

Can I train in more than one program?

Yes. Many students are interested in both striking and grappling. Depending on your goals and your schedule, we can help you figure out the best fit. Some members want to focus on one discipline, while others want a more complete martial arts experience

What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)?

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art that emphasizes ground control, leverage, and submissions. Rather than relying on size or strength, BJJ uses technique to neutralize and control an opponent, making it effective for all body types. It includes positional strategies, escapes, sweeps, and submissions like chokes and joint locks. Our BJJ program is affiliated with Burns BJJ under UFC fighter Herbert Burns. That means our curriculum and promotion standards follow Herbert’s guidance, ensuring students receive high-quality, structured training that aligns with his proven system.

What is Dutch Kickboxing?

Dutch Kickboxing combines elements of Western boxing and traditional Muay Thai. It’s known for its powerful low kicks, sharp punch combinations, and aggressive pace. Unlike some traditional styles, Dutch Kickboxing emphasizes strong pressure, fluid transitions between punches and kicks, and partner drilling. We are affiliated with HKickboxing under renowned coach Henri Hooft. Henri’s system—used by top-level strikers—focuses on clean technique, practical application, and developing a well-rounded striking game. Our Dutch Kickboxing classes follow his training methodology, giving you access to the same principles he uses with professional athletes.

What about your boxing program?

Even though we’re a martial arts academy, boxing is a major part of what we do.

Our boxing program focuses on fundamentals first. That includes stance, footwork, balance, defense, and clean punching mechanics. We don’t skip steps. Everything is built from the ground up so students actually understand what they’re doing instead of just throwing random combinations.

Classes typically include:

  • Jump rope and warm-ups to build rhythm and conditioning
  • Shadowboxing to develop movement and technique
  • Bag work to apply combinations with power and structure
  • Defensive drills to improve awareness, head movement, and control

We also focus heavily on flowing with combinations, not just throwing one or two punches and stopping. Students learn how to put punches together in a way that makes sense and carry that rhythm through rounds.

Boxing also directly improves your kickboxing. Better hands, better footwork, and better defense all carry over. That’s why we treat boxing as its own program, not just something mixed in randomly.

Whether someone is training for fitness, skill development, or eventually sparring, the goal is the same: clean technique, good movement, and understanding how to actually box.
